The other packs were hiding in this clearing, and Blood Pack found where the other packs stayed." She closed her eyes. " Even the Loners were here. Two loners, Night and Fang, had suddenly joined the side of the Blood Pack when the battle started. Then Night changed the side again, and Fang was furious. Night had loved me…" She lowered her gaze. " And after the Great Battle, when the other packs lost, he told me he wanted me to go to Sky Pack, where he would be alpha. I loved being a loner, though. And I could never trust a Blood Pack wolf once more." Dove had a tear fall across her face. " Many died that night." ( Its the plot in the beginning.)

Maple was too embarrassed to look at Ethan. She kept walking, her gaze fixed on the ground as she carried it to the pile of fresh-kill.
