Good for you! I hate seeing people kill snakes for no reason.

I love snakes and as long as you know what you are picking up (despite my live, I don't mess with venomous snakes either!) I don't see a problem with it. I've been bit a few times and it hurt like a butt, but it's not terrible. Had a garter snake draw blood once! Was NOT expecting that!

My Dad was once in Peru and they would chase venomous snakes all the time! (Not something to try at home, kids. Even though I am a kid.

I love snakes! You're lucky that you have a bunch by you. Despite living practically in the woods, I don't have many snakes around here. I guess it's for the better because of there were snakes, they'd probably eat my chicken's eggs
