hi all- just dropping by- just noticed this thread.
great to see everyone,
brindle- awesome pups
sem- sorry about the dumping- mares can get that way
bob- very nice birds
big med- I show my blue laced red splashs as any other variety wyandottes
I'm sure I missed someone
so here is what is new with me- I thought I had a new blr rooster- someone transported it for the owner to me- well let me tell you, poor bird traveled hundreds of miles for no good reason. that was the orangyist blr I'd ever seen and since I was told the breeder (and the seller was really lax with pictures) well, long story short, new rooster found a new home but not here. still dealing with health issues and no diagnosis but finally getting referrals and 2nd opinions going- the health care system is really hard to deal with sometimes.
I am so hoping to put in a batch of my white over blr wyandotte eggs and a batch of sizzles this week.

Hey what happened to all you chatty chicken owners?

I decided at 7am (OMG!!!) to go get some wire fencing and finish some unfinished chicken pen business, got the stuff home, called in sick, and worked on the pens. AND saw my neighbor and the roo I gave him 4 years ago died, I asked him if he wanted another, a big one, and one of my blue JG's went to live next door with 13 hens. Then I gave him another hen (liked her but not attached, really). He's very happy. I'll be rehoming my bantam pair tomorrow, and my Buff Orp roo is going to the feed store . So I'll be down to a tolerable number again. THEN I can think about getting some Polish eggs from Chickenzoo who may have some eggs from my Polish bred with something she has.

Well, time for the daily nap!
