Keet those feathers wet, I just dip my finger in some warm water and rub the sticky spot till it's wet It takes a while for it to get saturated enough to soften and loosen, so repeat as needed to keep it wet.

Great Job

Good advice, Michelle. That's what I usually do, too, Ducky.

Yep, it's good stuff. You can even put it in their drinking water to keep algae and that slimy stuff from growing. You can spray it right over the birds and it doesn't have any scent at all.

Have you ever read the Oxine article?

Nope, haven't read it. Can I use it to clean my bator?

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
"'Tis some visitor," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door —
Only this, and nothing more."

Yes. I use soap and water to clean it, then Oxine to sterilize it.

You can also dip your hatching eggs in it before you set them.

Let me go look for that article...
