My kids call them Ninja Chickens because they are so acrobatic when they play, flipping and flying, fun to watch.

I'm starting to think this place is full of enablers. I guess that means I should order some chicks.

I was thinking Golden Duckwing, Buff Laced, Pearl and Chocolate. What are the Crazy Barred? Crele?

The Codeine Haze is quite nice, thank you. It is a happy place.

I did just have a student come whining to me and asking if he had to come to class. Why would you not? I asked. He said he was really sleepy since he had pulled an all nighter trying to finish his mid-term in the class before mine. Really? You want to skip MY class because you waited until the last possible moment to do the homework for some other class? Homework that you have known about since the 15th of January? Really? I am here and I am in a Codeine Haze. I told him that I would see him in class.

I fought the crud for about a week and a half before I broke down and went to the doctor. The verdict was bronchitis. Thankfully it wasn't pneumonia. Sigh. I got a steriod shot in the butt for my troubles and prescriptions for cough syrup with codeine and an antibiotic. I feel better already, though that could be the codeine talking. I still sound like a dang TB ward though and I've pulled a rib muscle from coughing.

The moral of this story is go to the doctor sooner rather than later.

The hot tea and honey may soothe the cough some. I add mint to mine, as I always get the stuffy nose too.
