Oh Saddi. Well, it will tide you over, no? And congrats on acing the test with no studying!

Thanks buffy, I wasn't expecting to pass it at go, but most of the stuff I've been using, schedule C, 1040, deduction limits... I need something extra that I can do a few hours a week, and that won't inturrupt Evan's schedule. My least favorite job was one I was pretty good at, Head of A/R, did it for 4 years, untill a new CFO came in, cleaned house and brought in his own people. Buy then I had enough classes to start teaching, so I swapped. Figure a few bookkeeping gigs and tax season will cover the rest, seems being there for the boys is worth a soulless job I hate, but am really good at.

Thanks Boyd, dually noted and filed for future use...

being from the area, i sorta forget the difference. See, I'm a southerner living the life of an excommunicated yankee. It still amuses me to ask for pop when I go to resturants

Then again, in San Anton, I open carry so not only am I a gringo, but I am a gringo who walks amongst the masses unharmed. The fact that you are a dropdeadgeorgousblonde in a world of hispanics and blacks is always rough. No offense meant, but racism is still alive. And unfortunately it isn't what you think it is anymore...

He was given the job because he told them if they didn't he'd biff twang their behinders...

I coulda broken the owner over my back easily... as it is, he's actually a pretty funny guy, and very understanding. His insight was refreshing...... as he had a whole different spin on economics and ideas than I did... Probably because he's on the other side of economics than I've ever thought of. Very interesting company and person. I am actually looking forward to this.

Were. We both got laid off, mr saddi has a job in San Diego (4 hour commute) that makes up for his missing salary, it's a pretty cushy gig (complete with "beer-thirty" where they guys have a microbrew and munchies, and steak dinners). But I don't feel quite right about not working, even with him pulling in record profits.

No worries girly. Me and the wife talked it over. If we can, I want her to stay home when she has quatro, and take care of our 9 kids from then on out

That IS a full job. If we were still going to have more kids i'd be ok with that, but I'm not ok with relaying on one person's income after getting nailed with 2 layoffs in 3 months. Feel like we gotta Plan B, you know?
