my my my they grow so fast don't they boo?

it was just yesterday I had the baby turkey chicks in the bathroom and it was just this morning they all had jumped out of the bin and pooped all over my bathroom floor. Now they are residing in a kiddie pool in the garage with lots of heat lamps, food, water, a taller hardware cloth wrapped around the outside of the pool, and of course two little girls inside the pool with them as we speak. ha ha ha. oooooh, kids...and turkeys....and kids and turkeys.

and yesterday I started my physical rehab and she made me do stretches where I squeezed in my tummy and clenched my butt repeatedly over 45 min. and I must say this morning....my tooshy and sides of my tummy have felt the burn and after effects of such rigors.

and then in a bit I get to take the girls to an indoor swim party.... i may have to go in with them if they need another adult there... good thing I got a new swimsuit with more um, lift...my other one was in sad shape and loosing it's holding power... don't need to fall out when I've got 2 or 3 young uns holdin on to me and pulling on me. eeek.

My little chickies have been playing outside everyday this week. But, today, it looks like rain, and i don't think they can go out, it might be too cold. And son says they stink in his room. Hee hee, he said that the other day, but I keep sneaking them back in there at night anyway!!

Woo hoo, new suit, no falling out!!

I didn't know turkeys liked pools, but oh i guess you mean without water. ha ha

Last night at 2 am, when my son called to say we're here! I said, oh I'm changing diaper. he said, well you can unlock the door when you are done. I was like huh? How do I do that, (thinking of his door at his house)
Then it hit me "oh, you're here!!

And go for a horsie ride!!
Or, is it super windy there, like it is here? Blowing in the next storm, not sure how much rain we're going to get this time.

It is so windy!!!!! Ken raked the yard today to spread the horse poop around in an effort for alfalfa to start growing. No riding today - we have the saddles now, but no cinches or bits or harnesses or reins. Kinda need those.

Woo hoo, at least you got the saddles. Thats the hardest part! I've often wished i knew how to make headstall and reins out of the rope stuff that comes on the hay. Don't you think that would be cool? Or does your hay have wire on it? Well, I guess it is more like a twine than rope. I don't know what to call it.

Debi, these two bits have been hanging in my barn for years, I could send them to you if you want them.
