Friends Welcome

Here's my Sunday afternoon jog in the neighborhood. (It's been months since I've jogged, so it was very traumatic. Took pics to take my mind off suffering.)

Chipman Cove, across the road from our house, although we can't see it from our place.
It's about half tide here. Wellfleet village is in the distance. Lovely dead saltmarsh hay...

A gull eating some poor creature that washed up or committed suicide from the gray weather we've been having:

A herd of Brants:

A sideways pic of a stranded White Sided Dolphin (can't get BYC Upload to right it).
The funny thing is that this one washed up over the rock jetty. Musta been a super high full moon tide.

Closeup of said dolphin (like the teeth?):

This is Indian Neck Beach, about a mile walk from our house - great sunsets over Great Island...:

Must have, we can't find the hamster.

Check the cats

The visiting housecats went back to Colorado. The dryer worked when they were here and now it doesn't work. Think there's a connection?

It was the only smilie that was shoveling. I smile when I shovel. It adds to my insanity defense.

Gotta run to an appt.

See ya in a bit

This post is for Dacs. The rest of you, just move along, nothing to see here...

1. No gray mood - actually pretty "up" mood (for me anyway).

2. Dead dolphin onshore - it's really hard for me to get pics of underwater live ones, they never want to pose.

3. You would take those pics? What are you, some kind of necrofreak?

4. Yes, I'm a closet something or other... I have Bill Bryson's book "A Short History of Nearly Everything" on my MP3 player. I've been learning about everything - including the truth about Lucy, which came several weeks after you and I discussed that sweet young skinny thing.

Thank you, now please go about your firebreaks and clothesline hanging.
PS: My DH is an ISTJ too. Bizarre.

Hi Tex, bye Tex.

Here's another pic, taken from the bluff up the hill from us, in the evening, overlooking Chipman Cove. The rock jetty is out of the pic to the right.

Just so you know I can take a pic of something still alive:
