The tri went well. 2 hours 12 minutes, my goal was 2 hours. Not bad considering it was cold, even for here, and I hadn't gotten to see the course till I was racing on it cause it's on the base. Cereal Girl walked with me for the last part. We sang, danced, skipped and even ran a little on our 5K "run" Hi Pony! and tree chick

Maggie and Sassy are you two staying out of trouble? Sassy I think I read something about your father and (is it) Dakota? I'll think on that one. There's got to be a logical argument. What is his reasoning for getting rid of that horse? Is there another one that you wouldn't mind parting with?

Part of the problem with that law is if you "appear to be an illegial immagrant" the police can stop and question you. Now I've zero Latina in me, but I do have olive skin (italian and sicilian family), and durning the summer I tan enough to look mexican. By the new rules I could be asked for documentation proof at anytime, and then have to let the local police decide if my docs are "authentic". Immagration is a problem, but making racial profiling into law is just plain wrong.

They have to have probable cause to ask you if you are here illegally. The police cannot just randomly come up and ask you to show your papers.

Ella Bella is cranky. She has an ear infection and it hurts her. I just took her to the doctor yesterday, so she's only had 2 doses of her antibiotic so far, so it'll be a while before she feels better. I gave her some ibuprofen this morning, but she still says it hurts.
