.... I ate 4 ding-dongs last night. Between wine and processed foods i had some really trippy dreams.

That's probably what made you have a haze this morning.

Yeah, was doing some emotional eating. I'll be doing laps for a week now. March is an up & down month, but soon it'll be over. On the bright side, the property damage part of the car accident is just about done. it'll be nice to have a paid-off car again.

Sure. Coffee's pretty much the last thing in this house that uses white sugar, just not quite right without it.

See... I dont even sweeten mine... not much of a gourmet, am I?

Don't be silly you know what you like, that's the whole idea. I took up coffee when I quit smoking. But I'm not a fan of dropping $5 a day on coffeehouse coffee, so I bought a combo machine with bells-n-whistles (I use them all), and make my "girl coffee" at home. Best thing is the maker's programmable, so when i'm making dinner i load it up, and at 8AM it'll make the morning coffee for me, and keep it ready to drink till 11AM.

I don't know why people feel they "NEED" that expensive cup of sugar and fat...
not into spending the $5 a day on coffee either.
I spend my $5 a day feeding various animals on our 3/4 acre "farm???"

Let me clarify what I meant...
I mean when people are unable to take care of their kids, pay their bills, mortgages, etc. and they are still headin to the corner coffee shop and droppin $5 for a cup every day.... The "I simply CAN'T live without it" crowd of "ME FIRST" people...
Sorry, not trying to down you if you're in that crowd...

I have had friends that let their kids go without stuff so they can have a cup of BS every day...

No dear, no offence. There is a coffee shop in town that knows me by name, but that's because i organized the parent/teacher coffee nights there (for 2 hours once a month the teachers would meet there and have coffee with parents so those who couldn't get to the school because of work hours could go and get 10 minutes to check in and discuss concerns). When we were undergrad mr saddi and I did preschool for second shift families (single moms who worked 6-2AM) that way the kids could get preschool and still be able to have time with thier mothers. More than once we'd hear "I just had to get my highlights redone!" followed by "i'm short this week, can I pay you the rest next week?" Um, no I need to go buy your kid food.
