Poor guy! It's just been one thing after antother for you. A sick rooster and now an injured dog.

I was glad to see treating the roo at night made him easier to handle - I love that trick.

I adopted my cat from the local shelter. She had been abused when she wasn't being neglected as a kitten. She had to beg for food.

Now she begs for pets. ALL the time. Clingiest little creeper cat ever. She is the ultimate creeper cat. She watches me from the dark with only her eyes in a ray of light. She's never farther than the next room over, and even so... She's watching.

She's very protective of me. If the dog bugs me for attention, you bet the poor puppy gets chased by my raccoon of a cat. My cat sleeps on my chest at night. The difference between her and a kitten? 20 lbs... She doesn't mew at me to wake me up. She drags her paw down my nose and face until I get up.

But I love her anyway! She's so fluffy and cute!

All I find of the snakes are the skulls. Lucifer kills them and the girls peck them clean. I don't know what happens to the vertebrae. That darn rooster kills everything smaller than him! Even squirrels that try to eat the chicken food. Well, I don't know if he killed it, but from the mess I'm assuming it didn't fare well since Lucy didn't have a scratch on him.
