I know! One of my EE's, Cheeps, looks very funny when she sits out in the rain! The only problem is that I have to go out in the rain to put them away
No rain here yet, just hot hot hot!! I haven't seen you before on BYC, have you been a member for long?
Matthew
A little over a month now.. And I have to go out in the rain when they are in it to put them away also it is nerve racking.

I have a new broody in the barn - first time one of my standard hens went broody. Her mother was a Barred Rock and her father was a Frizzled EE, so she's frizzled and solid black. I have no idea how long she's been broody. What's really funny is right now she's almost completely naked - she's a really hard molter - I don't know how she's going to keep chicks warm when she has no feathers!

I want some Honey Bees. I was going to start them this year, but I decided to wait a few years when I found out I was pregnant.
Just ask if you need some help
Be glad to
Matthew
Do you have any websites to recommend? Where'd you buy your bees? I could always start researching now. I sold a rabbit to the president of one of the local apiary societies last year. I was going to ask him where to start, but I decided to wait a few years once I found out I was pregnant. I'll probably end up just buying a ready-made hive and mail-order bees for it.

Belle, sent your broody card yesterday.
I can't wait to see it!
My husband and I were watching River Monsters last night and they were trying to catch Bull Sharks in a South African river. I told my husband I had a friend in South Africa!
