Nic's making up a better story for hers. We decided "jumping off a box while doing plyometrics in gym class and had to have my ACL replaced" doesn't sound as good as
A) I was white water rafting when a big mean bear reached out and batted me clear out of the boat.
B) A moose attack, it wasn't pretty, I thought I was gonna be killed.
C) I was playing fetch with my pet polar bear and he got a little too rough.

I had a beautiful strawberry patch at our old house and the first year it was due to produce - we moved.
I'm think I'm going to go strawberry picking this week. The kids are out of school, so I'll have my own strawberry-picking sweat shop going on.
We recieved 5 strawberry plants last season. Now we have a big patch of just strawberries.
I hope we stay long enough till they have fruit.
Good Afternoon/ Morning!
I've just come back from some bicycle riding, and swimming in cold water.
On the trip we collected various aloes and found some very intersting plants. Then on the way back through the plantation we (DF and I) spotted some Duiker and some wild living chooks with chicks. While comming back we met some curious chooks. They actually started running after us! I rode through a American Bramble bush and full of thorns. I also rode into a pine tree. And to top it I didn't use my brakes well and well did a 'fly the coop' my bicycle seemed to stay behind while I was moving really fast. Secondly I broke our mini microscope. I'm a little buggered but I would love to do it again. I've got about 6 days before I'm gone from 13-19th of June.
I hope you all enjoy your Sunday's!
I just planted 125 strawberry plants. They won't do much this year, but next year should be stupendous. There's nothing better than a warm strawberry pulled right off the plant. YUM!
Belle- just wanted to share. I got home late last night from the beach trip (which was awesome, by the way) and this morning I found TWO little eggs in the silkie pen. The silkies have FINALLY started laying! WHOOHOO!!!!
