Whats everyone up too?

So, I was out in the garden today pickin okra, squash, maters, eggplants, and hot peppers. Well I have this one jalapeño plant that I got from a friend who claims they are much hotter than the average jalapeño. I have noticed that it is taking longer to produce than the standard jalapeño plants and not producing as many peppers. Well, I spot one of the peppers on this plant that looks ready to be picked and I picked it. Me, being the bonehead that I am decide to eat that pepper right there. I could not get into the house quick enough to get something to eat.

In other news, I have noticed that my row of red okra has not given my any red okras big enough to pick yet. There are several little ones on the plants though. I planted them the same time I planted the regular okra. The stems on those plants are red as well

In other other news, I have a bunch of manzano pepper plants that I have never grown before that are doing great. They are supposed to be great for cooking Italian food. I cant wait for them to mature.

The one time I don't have my good camera, there's something I want to take a picture of! Figures.

ETA: The other jeep, a 1999 Wrangler 2-door on a serious lift kit started doing the "Death wobble". I hated driving it anyway. It started "death wobbling" going 60 mph, then it happened at 40, and then at 30. That was enough for me.

Good morning!

Nice wheels Maggie!

Yummy on the garden Tex!

My sister flew to Oklahoma yesterday, she origianlly asked if I wanted to go, too. Thanks for the weather update p-nut, glad I'm not there.

I was doing good, getting the house cleaned up, DH did a good job out in the yard. Now because of yesterdays flood, stuff is all over my house again, furniture in the driveway, washer and dryer outside. Sometimes I really miss my truck, I could load up all this stuff and take it to Last Chance Mercantile. I have a problem organizing as it is, without all this extra chaos. Guess its a good thing we never got the floor replaced from the last washer flood last Oct. I should of just bought a new washer/dryer back then, but DH wanted to repair instead. I just don't know why this keeps happening.

Even redid some of the plumbing last time.
Well, I do have a trunk, start loading stuff and drop off at those good Will truck things.

Now, I'm going to go look at Ducky's page, if dial-up will let me.
