Good morning!

The other day, DH got the pony out and proceeded to saddle him. I was watching from a distance.
Oh my, it was scary!
First he put saddle too far back, then he pulled back strap super tight, first! Yikes.
Then he attempted tightening the cinch. I guess he never paid attention when I told him they hold their breath so their bellies are larger. Then he walks away, and that's when I came down. Both straps super loose, saddle could of rolled under belly. Or the saddle could of slipped back and back strap would of been around flank.
Pony was good, he tolerated it all.
But if something would of spooked him, it could of been a different story.

I'm silly I guess, cuz I think it should be me playing with pony, after all, I don't get his motorcycles out and ride them when he's not looking.

Oh and pony ws good, he didn't fight e on cleaning his feet, and he let me put green stuff in them. its starting to be regular now that he doesn't fight me or try to sit on me. He is learning that I am not going to force him or lift legs to high or whatever it was that use to happen to him to make him so leery.

I think it would be cool to have a nice big huge covered arena like that.

Maggie, sassy, how old are your horses?

Hi Michelle!

Maggie and Sassy, your horses are nearly the same age as each others.

Little Big Man was about 10 when I got him, so I guess he is 11 now, since I've had him for a year already.

He's so fuzzy already, he never really lost all of his winter coat it seemed. Maybe he is just naturally fuzzy all the time?
Or just a lot of thick hair, I dunno. All I know is he's cute.

Just got back from yummy dinner. Makes me want to nap, but I'm going to try real hard not to.

Hey everyone, I'm going to be going up north, as in....Shreveport.

I'm going to see my aunt, and I know I'm going to freeze. It's already chilly down here.

But the awesome thing is, we're going to the Bonnie and Clyde tradedays. It's like a huge flea market, but it has animals and tons of other stuff!! I'll take pics.

My mom hopes I don't come back with another horse.

ETA: In order to take pictures....I need to find my camera.
