Oh it is! I got the local Mexican joint makin for me like that now. At first they thought I was nuts, well I am nuts, but now they know I also like my Dirty Margarita's (can you her the mariachi band?)

Dear Lord,

So far today, I've done okay. I haven't gossiped, haven't lost my temper, been greedy, grumpy, selfish or mean. I'm really glad about that. But in a few minutes, Lord, I'm going to get out of bed, and from then on I'm going to need a lot of help.

We've been waiting and preparing for the return of my good friends hubby from Afghanistan and everyday for a week now there has been one more delay that has bumped it one more day. It's happened again. He's in Germany and the flight isn't going to leave today either, I know it's only one more day but it's still frustrating. So close and yet so far.

It was nice. New place we'd not been to before. When I was a kid in LA, there was this one restruant we loved, since then it's been some effort to find a joint that stacked up. There was a place in SF and San jose that were equally good, but so much in this are is chain joints (applebees, chilis, red robin). When I ordered in spanish, the waitress answered back, in spanish, always a good sign. Menudo and tounge were on the menu (I don't eat either, but that's a clue that they haven't whitewashed the menu completely). Since we only go out every few months, it's worth it to find the best places.

Next on the list, real chinese food.

Great! I really enjoy the drive to Kenai (300 mile +/-) but we have 40-50-mph winds. Hope all the snow stays on the mountains. Getting caught in an avalanch would seriously impact my intinerary.
