Friends Welcome

He's in Baghdad.
I keep reminding myself that he's got it better this time, most of the last deployment he lived out of his truck and slept ON TOP of it at night...
The deployment before that he lived in a CONEX, ya know a shipping crate... great digs there LOL
This time he has his own room and internet connection.
Also another thing I think about is in past wars, some families went months without even hearing from their soldiers.
Mail didn't run or if it did, it took forever and R&R didn't happen.
The soldiers do have it rough, but it could be FAR worse.

Okay...I was out training a 2 yr old for my friend and it was saddle broke. That little thing took off with me, wouldn't stop! I FINALLY stopped him after running for 4 miles. I don't know what I was thinking...I should have stayed in the round pen

The Fly Lady would.
I can't go to bed unless the bed has been made. The covers are all wrinkly and it makes me sleep all wrinkly. It's just wrong.
Do it. It takes about 1 minute, tops.

That could be a bad thing.

Howdy folks

I spent the morning with Ella having her MRI done at UVa. I had to get up at 5:30am and drive over an hour to the hospital and I'm SO tired. She came through the test well; it'll be a while before I get the results. I always get so nervous whenever they have to put her under. This time they gave her a shot of something to make her loopy before setting her IV, it made her loopy but she could still feel what they were doing and when they pricked her with the IV needle, she said, "OWWWW!" then she looked right at the doctor and said, "STOP IT!" It made us all giggle. She was really goofy coming off the sedation meds; it was pretty entertaining.

Yup. The kids beds are tidied, mine's made as we climb in at night. Then again I wash sheets twice a week and frebreeze so...

I wash mine 1-2 times a week, I don't Frebreeze anything unless it is after an "oopsy" the cat/dog (okay

occasionally a chicken) did on the carpet... scooped, washed with soap and then to make sure it doesn't smell, the Frebreeze.
I can't take the smell of the air freshener stuff, it makes me ill.
I once bought a hang in the tank toilet freshener and it was at the other end of the house... I could smell it in the living room and it made me want to be sick.

And then running to the toilet and the smell intensifies and then you get sicker and it just keeps going on and on and on and on
