When you read about it on medical sites, it sounds really scary. They don't know where hers came from - she doesn't have any of the usual conditions that cause one and has never had a spinal trauma, so they just do a yearly MRI to make sure it's not changing. If it does change, they'll probably have to do surgery.

It's never seemed to affect her at all and it's easy to forget she has it. So I just try not to worry about it too much. She's such a sweet girl.

It only took five cat treats to get them to do this today. Note the rumpled blanket - and yes I left it that way.
