Ella's doing good - no ill effects from her sedation yesterday
The older kids are off to school
My husband left for a 5 day trip

Do you hear that? Peace and quiet.

.......except for some peeping coming from the incubator!

I forgot to lockdown the eggs on day 18, so I did it yesterday.

I candled all of them and saw movement in 32 of them - 2 others I didn't see movement in and I don't think they're going to hatch, but they didn't smell, so I put them in with the others. Only one had pipped the air cell as of yesterday, so I expect that's where the cheeping is coming from.

I won't be able to get pictures for you until my husband gets back from his trip, he took the camera with him.

Belle, Im glad she's alright...

I got 7 bantam cochin and silkie eggs yesterday

but look what I found in the cochin/silkie house

I think they are trying to be broody
