Down boys.

I'd post a pic of me but my hair still has bedhead, I'm in a hoody and comfy pants, and covered with dirt from raking the front yard and prepping the garden. Now I'm gonna go play with the mini ex and get really dirty!!!

Sounds like a good plan to me. *whispers* What's a mini ex?

I'm going to start dinner soon. Beef stew tonight.

And I want your beef stew recipe. I've got a roast in the freezer I bought on sale last week for $2 a pound.

I'll PM you the stew recipe; I'm making regular beef stew tonight. I submitted one to the cookbook you might really like...Sweet Cajun Beef Stew. It's got great flavor, but it's a bit spicy for me - clears my sinuses. Instead of regular potatos, you use Sweet taters.

I know. You were being Boyd.

besides, I've got daughters her age!

Somedays I just wonder why I even bother to exist.

Most days I want to move to another country and change my name. Australlia sounds nice.

And then I remember that the only way to get there is by ship or by plane- I get sea sick and have an innate fear of hights.

Glad you're alive. How'd the test go?

Pretty sure I got at least 95%. I was ready for it this time.

Would anyone be interested in one adult female? Comes with one dog, one geriatric cat, and two laying hens? We don't eat much (with the exception of Soupie and Ethel) and can sleep just about anywhere. Heck, with a few scraps of lumber we could even make our own lean-to on the edge of your property- quiet and out of the way. We're willing to help with chores, or at least Diesel and I (he already comes trained) We can even babysit/pet sit if needed now and then. We clean up after ourselves, and have limited (emphasison LIMITED) cooking abilities. We even ship for free...

Please?

How much should I ask for Lucy (Lucifer)? I've finally decided to get rid of him. I found blood on one of the feeders and my best guess to it's origin is him hurting a hen's head. I love my roo and I'll miss him terribly. He's very sweet and I'll miss getting to hold him in the rocking chair and watching the sun rise. I'll miss listening to him crow and going for walks around the neighborhood. He's so cute when he runs and his fluffy pant legs bounce. He's always been my baby roo roo. But I love my hens (collectively) more.

With him gone there will be room for two more hens, and that equals two more hens laying. The price of college what it is, I need all the free cash I can get.
I'll still miss him though.

So how much should I ask so that I can ensure he goes to a good home and not to a dinner plate? He's a good roo. He just needs more space and more hens.
