It's a most wonderful evening here in SE IA. 50*, was 65* or so when the sun was up. I just finished a glass of red wine out on the swing... even took my geriatric cat out to enjoy the weather before the sun went down. She walked halfway around the house- only stopping to sniff the occasional leaf or blade of grass. I think it felt good for her to be out in the warm sunshine again.

She hissed at me when I brought her back inside

He lets her drink out of his dish, and sneak kibbles out of his food bowl. When she swats at him, he just goes the other way. I think he knows this will probably be her last summer with us, so he is very patient

My big galumping boxer mutts are both scared of the cats. Neither one will cross the alpha cat. He just sits and stares at them and they both whine and walk away. Silly dogs.

Diesel is a good dog for being sweet to the kitty.

I feel for you kid. Divorce is never easy, even when it's what I want and I'm in great health.

Amen to that one.

G, everyone has to do what they can to feed and house their family. I wish you luck with state aid too. Of course this was almost 17 years ago, but when Brandon's dad and I split up, I qualified for $4 in food stamps because I had a job in the last 6 months. WHAT? Yeah.

Thankfully I don't have to go there. Last time I needed help I got the same answer. "Sorry lady, you have a job. If you were unemployed we could pay for everything as long as you didn't get another job..."

WHAT?!?!?!

No I didn't and YES PLEASE!!! It will hard for us to be able to ride during the week until we get our own saddles, but the trainer and Ken nephew will be here several times a week to work with them. Already, they prefer us though and that is a good thing.

Oh, thats cool you have some one working with you. Wish I had a spare saddle for you. There are some for sale at the hardware/auto store in my town, people get to sell stuff they don't want any more there, we have a couple times,

My pony, can't really see the bridle he has on, but its not my bridle anyway, this was the day I was looking at him to see if I wanted to trade my horse for a pony
