They're going to Disneyworld soon. Is that considered exotic?

Anything over the bridge that separates Cape Cod from the rest of the world is exotic to me.

I'm thinking of taking a vacation this summer. I'm going to load up the tent and drive north to Canada. I'm going to camp each night, and if I like the place, I may stay another night. Diesel will stay with granny, so it'll be just me and the great outdoors. I think I'll take a weekend off work, so I should have around 12 or so days.

Sounds nice. Anywhere near have hot springs? It makes for nice lounging while camping.

DisneyLAND. IMHO Disneyland is WAY better than Disneyworld.

I've never been to either one.

You need to head this way. Disney is my all time favorite place to go. I LOVE IT!!!!

I've been to DisneyWorld, but only because DH's sis lives near there. I know it's supposed to be a fantasy world where everything is perfect and entertaining, but I felt awfully strange there. It's was too "processed" for me. Too artificial. I like things a little more dirty & organic... or maybe I just can't handle pure happiness and fun. That's probably it, right there.

One I'm not annoyed, you're right plenty of kids are snots and thier parents should be body-checked for doing such a poor job.

On Disney, it's utterly fake perfection, and for a price. Perhaps the commercilization of joy is the irritant? It annoys me to be hit up for money at everyride's end.

And yet, you still love me....

Every ride has a price, even life. Look at death and estate taxes after you kick the bucket. Maybe Disney is just trying to prepare us for our demises.
