I'm picking up a dozen or so blue cochin eggs (the batch I just hatched was supposed to be the blues but the egg cartons got mixed up so they are blacks and gold laced (ADORABLE!!!)

And I'm also picking up a dozen or so blue eggs which I will set at the same time. Blue egg layers and self blue cochins... I think I'm going through a blue period

My son wants dorkings but Tori's having fertility issues with her dorkings so we'll try for some more of those again after the blues hatch.

Yep, I'm a hatchaholic too. I love spring

...unless you decide to go straight down...increasing in speed...and do a face plant...

ohh those were some fun times.

but i was able to zig zag and avoid that disaster but another person I knew...not exactly "friends" but i knew them... he did the high speed face plant and I

laughed so hard I had tears!!

I just zig zagged and told everyone to "watch out...here i come!"

I love mine, I'm having trouble getting my store to carry the flavors of coffee I want. All they ever have is extra-bold flavored coffees

I like the medium blends, the Hazelnut, The Nantuckett, and the Breakfast Blend. Silly store managers, they need to listen to their customers.

I'm pooped covered and I just took on my first roo. All the other times I've just kept something between me and any aggressive roo....like a stick, shovel, garbage can lid....

This time I punted that bugger right into the duck pool. I taught him.
