Peeled, segmented and sprinled with slivered almonds for a slight bite. Sort of a spin on the traditional fruit cup, but brighter flavors.

Well, the new girls are settled in. Roo chased them around for a while... they hid under the coop for a while. But at last check, they were out and about, pecking at random bits with their horridly mutilated beaks.
And in case you're wondering why I didn't quarantine, it's because the roo is going on a road trip next Thursday anyhow, so if they've got something, there really isn't any birds to infect but each other.

Yea I know. I count my calories. Fortunately even with that meal I'm around 3000 calories today. Had a light dinner (16oz of cooked steamed shrimp & shelled peanuts as a snack) and skipped breakfast.

Yea I know. I count my calories. Fortunately even with that meal I'm around 3000 calories today. Had a light dinner (16oz of cooked steamed shrimp & shelled peanuts as a snack) and skipped breakfast.
