The roost broke sometime this week, and I wonder if she might have clipped her beak on that. My chickens are going roostless this week, or at least I can make them a new one.
I think she will be okay, just keep monitoring her.

Oh Maggie, you're such a good chickie momma! She'll be fine, just look at my Thelma and Louise's beaks....
Louise has a harder time than Thelma, her beak is much shorter. She has no problems eating out of the feeder, and picks up about 60% I'd say of what she tries to get on the ground. Sometimes it takes her 3 or 4 times, but she gets it.
I'd say your girl will be just fine. Just keep an eye on her for a while, and good luck!

Your chickens are cute!!! Dora doesn't seem to have any issues eating, so I haven't been too worried about it. She was having fun massacring the fire ant pile a few hours ago. Poor ants, they never see it coming.
Our celebration starts in an hour. Its getting close to dusk here....
what is this "Beltane" thing... if i may ask??
It's a feast to celebrate the mid point of summer into spring (when the first few fruits are ripe). I can still bake break sitting, so I took that this year.
