Hi Saddi. I guess we were talking theoretically. Well, I don't know if I'd have a "comfortable" widowhood. Hubby and I don't make much even combined. I'm sorry the stupid medical bills swallowed up the comfort zone you might have had.

It's ok, we didn't have alotta cash, but he had kept up with his life insurance (he got it when it was $15/mo locked in for life, he was 19). His mom was also a widow, and depended on him. Those medical bills were from having my kids, so it's easier to swallow that, but something is very wrong when you have to spend all you have or else be sued from a hospital. They put a price on my kids' lives and i think it's not the right thing to do.

But do have some fun now dear, this isn't just his life you're letting time slip from.

I don't know about "comfortable" either - he won't tell me how much he's insured for. I think he's afraid I'll poison him or something.
