I did first, then the rest of these crazies.
And shouldn't you be in bed? with all the excitement and drama going on in your other thread, such an ancient person should be long abed.

Have they decided on a name, yet? It's decision time!

x2!

Has anyone seen the 25 packs MPC is offering? I'm thinking of splitting one with the guy who took my rooster (assuming that's what he wants) and just keeping two of the chicks. I read so much on here about people who buy SQ birds from breeders, and they're sick.

I don't think I could deal with that right now. But the 25 packs cost less than my 8 did by about $30! (Free shipping)

We have a lot of those grey foxes around here.

This is a red fox.

Oh really? I don't think I've ever seen one of those out here. I've never seen the cougar in the wild either, except with my game camera. Our bird feeders inadvertently became squirrel feeders, so we use them for target practice. The 'results' get hung up in the woods with a camera on the lookout so that we know what predators we've got around. So far, a couple redwolf/coyote mixes, foxes, a bobcat, and one cougar.

We can't trap/relocate them because it's illegal

So you either have to deal with them or kill em.

I've had a fox problem for over a year now.

I used to let my spare cockrels run free, but they started disappearing, so I set up a game camera to find out what was killing my chickens and found out it was a red fox. So I stopped letting my cockrels run free, but the fox still comes by every night. He's never tried digging into the pen or climbing the walls, so everyone in the coop is safe, but if any birds or rabbits escape their cage or pen, they're fox food.

I'm allowed to trap it, but not relocate it (I'd have to kill it) but I've never done anything like that before, so I just co-exsist with him.
