Everything ok Bant?

Not really.

I haven't been able to walk on my right foot at all for 2 days now.
It's swelled, and it's a pain to walk around, I've got my camp on Sunday, I'm not sure if I'll go.

See what happened was, I went to the river without shoes and got my foot into a Honey-Locust thorn.
About 3 days later my mom was able to remove the thorn, but ever since that same place has been as hard as rock.
And now suddenly it's really paining and greenish.

I'm sure I'll get better, and will be able to attend camp.

How is it going with you?!?

Wow Sibone, You need to be careful which tulips you tip toe through. I love to be barefoot and have stepped on a thing or two that I shouldn't have

I hope the foot turns out ok.

I'm great! Thanks for asking. My kids flew away today to go visit their dad in Seattle. So now I have the whole house to myself. Tomorrow I can start cleaning, and when I',m done it will stay that way

Shoot, I've had both of my well pumps here for than 15 years. I did have to change the leathers on the bottom of one well once. That has been it.

Um, does this mean I'm supposed to pay attention to the pump in my well? I've completely ignored it for 5 years. Water comes out when I turn the faucet on, that means it's working...

I've been up for a little while, chickens, bunnies and pony are eating breakfast already.
I have coffee.
Soon the well people will be here to pull the pump out of the well to find which pipe is leaking. Even if they find one of the beginning ones to be leaking, they are going to pull out all the way to the pump to check them all. I think there are 21 pipes, or something like that. Its been 7 years since I've seen the pump pulled out.

Michelle, you only have to pay attention to the pump when you start NOT having water come out, or if the pressure is super low and the pge bill is $282 instead of $50!
Since the pump is getting pulled out anyway, and it is 7 years old, that is why it is going to be tested. It is quite expensive to have it pulled, and if its just going to break in a few more months, then I can replace it now, rather than have them come pull it again in a few months. Plus it takes a few hours, at $145 hour.
One good thing about all this, DH cleaned up the yard some, and is going to the dump today, cuz we had to make room for that big ole boom truck to get into our property to get to the well that is in the middle of our yard!

Last summer we had to fix our sewre works, also had a whole lot of pipes and fixtures.
