Its been a while since I posted here. My internet was off for days because Verizon doesn't doesn't know their butt from page 8, and I was on a limited air card. Now we are back in business.

I am SOOOO glad to have a three day weekend. And I got paid today!!! Steaks in the freezer, charcoal in the garage, corn in the fridge. Bring it ON!

Good Saturday morning!

I decided to get up since I wasn't sleeping anyway.

Already got dishes done!

I'll pick at organizing my house some more this weekend.
The other spare room needs painting, then a floor, and then I can move our bed into there.
Then the room we move out of can be fixed up.
Stuffs can get rearranged in the living room, too.
My hall closet is no longer my sewing room, that was so piled up with stuff I couldn't sew. And the small bathroom is no longer storage/junk collector area!
And maybe we'll make it to the dump today.
So much stuff has been being collected for years now, and then just stashed various places.
Been making runs to the donation station.

Oh, maybe I will learn to organize again!

Hi everyone!
My day is going good. I might go riding today if it doesn't rain.

I can't wait for tomorrow, we are having friends over and doing a fish-fry. And gonna pop lots of firecrackers, and I have a feeling my big dog Champ is gonna go hide under the truck.

Went to a little jazz shin-dig in a friend's barn today. One of the guys there gave me a ride in his so-dark-it-looked-black-but-yet-was-still-green 1968 charger. After having shown how it shifted from 1st to 2nd, we decided to do a test on how fast it could go 0 to 60. I couldn't even hear him say when over the engine. I probably couldn't have hit the stop button anyway, I was so pressed against the seat!
It was exciting mostly because it was the first time I've been in a muscle car when it was used as a muscle car should be... at 95+ mph.

You just can't speed like that down in Dallas and no one has that type of car out in Texoma. My friend down in Dallas collects cars like these, but he doesn't take them over 60. My dad used to have a red Mercedes convertible (I forget what year... Maybe late 90's?) and he took it 140 once, but I wasn't in the car. I think he was afraid I'd get it in my head to drive it!
