Friends Welcome

I'm going to bed now, tetanus shot over. The bad news is there is a heat advisory and the birds have to be locked in the coop all day because I have to sleep and the run is out of commission. They have plenty of water and a window fan... Everyone

that they're ok!

Hi everyone, I'm coming down with a cold, and going to the doctor and while I'm there I need my tetanus booster shot. I. Hate. Needles.

I hope I don't faint. But I'm going with a friend (she also needs hers, I'm gonna make her go first.) So maybe I'll be okay.

I'm home for the day already. This summer feeding program is simple stuff!

DH is painting walls in the room that we are going to move our sleeping quarters too!

This house rearranging is slow but steady.

I suppose I am due for a tetnus shot again too.
Its also time for my, um I forgot what its called, the one where they poke you and then you wait for a few days and see if bumps come or not. Oh yea, TB test.

Since I work around young children, what do you guys think, should I think about getting the whooping cough booster since they are saying it is around again?

Um, then you don't need the blood draw or the shots... Just my opinion

i agree

One shot was for meningitis. It's a college entry shot or something of the like. A bit odd I'm getting it, but hey, I'm okay not getting meningitis. There is absolutely no reason for the blood draw. She just sends me on these weird little check ups. Last time it was to the cardiologist. Ack. It's a waste of money, time, and blood if you ask me.

Hi Sassy, good to hear from you. No fainting, right?

Huh, I didn't know shots and tests were required for college. Could be a good thing, I suppose.
What happens if you don't go on the extra visits for extra tests?

Playing with pony, teaching GS how to water bunnies. He already knows how to water chickens and pony.

Well, I do have to get the two other shots. They're necessary with one of the ones they tricked me into yesterday. But I really see no reason for the blood draw. Do they do that every 5 or 10 years or something? I think it's been 5 since my last one... It could be she just wants to check everything out with my family history and all.

The irony here? The prescription I went in to their office to get, they forgot to call it in. So the day after, feverish and sick from those darn shots, I still don't have the prescription that started all this. And they wonder why I won't come in that often.
