Stupid question...did it hurt real bad?

Sassy, I'm thinking you and I are more alike every day...

First of all, I'm sorry you got hit by a car. That really sucks and I'm going to assume you're ok because you then went to a llama farm. And those suckers can be mean. I find the fact you survived said llama farm experience slightly more intriguing than the old lady trying to kill you.

(On a side-note, I've been hit 4 times in my whole life and I'm aiming to keep it at that number. The eerie part? All in the same part of town. Not a single one was my fault (that's my story and I'm sticking to it). Some guy talking on his cell phone drove up on the curb, another two times was someone taking a certain busy corner too fast and not noticing the pedestrians, and the last time... Well, I really can't explain that one. They stopped to let me go across, then as soon as I was in the middle of their vehicle, slammed on the gas.

People are weird.)

Hope it doesn't bruise too bad!

School started yesterday, so I am busy again.
All the new kindergartners. So cute, but it is so hard for me to hear their names, it takes a couple weeks to learn them all.

First two days went real smooth. Summer was so fast, it almost seems as if I was only off for the weekend.

My horse once kicked me in the head, on accident. We jumped a ditch but she flipped and I flew off and as she scrambled to her feet, well, my head got in the way. She ran off and I was dazed. We were alongside the highway, so some one saw it happen and went off to catch my horse then gave me a ride to her.

My DH will be home tomorrow, FIL still in hospital.

Hope you enjoyed your day today Michelle.

You are busy Belle, hope you are remembering to take good care of yourself!

Hey P-nut!

Wow Maggie!
The car just bumped me, she didn't knock me down... Old ladies are so dangerous.

Sounds like you're busy too, boo! That was nice of that person to catch your horse. I'm afraid to ride my horses along a high way. I've got a feeling that if I do, one or both of us is going to die.

I'm sorry about your FIL.

Just made a key lime cake. Yum. It's for my father's birthday. He's turning 51. When he turned 50, everyone celebrated his getting halfway there. Now that he's turning 51, everyone's celebrating his having made it this year. It's amazing how things can turn out when you least expect it.

His birthday is Saturday and I still haven't gotten him a gift. These things always sneak up on me.

My FIL's name is Fred.
Tomorrow he will be moved to another hospital. Probably will not be going home ever. He is on his last days.

I no longer ride along the highway. I don't even ride down our road. Way too much traffic now days, and yes, it feels like you're going to die!

Oh no, I'm so sorry Boo!

I went ride breago today...And I fell off for the first time since I was bucked off, and that was about 6 months ago. I was riding him on this very wooded trail, and he spooked at a walmart bag. (Don't ask me how it got there) He turned sideways and I went off the other way...Didn't hurt, until a few hours later.

Then I watched this video... Made me feel better, although, I've fallen like those riders MANY times.
