Hi. New to BYC.
Moved from big city in West TN to our farm almost 2yrs ago. 50+ acres.

We picked up chicks in May 2023.
25 Bresse, 4 Ameraucana and I think 2 Wyandotte. The hatchery gave us the other breeds in lieu of shipping refund. Which was a welcomed surprise. Got a straight run. Way too many roosters. Not good for the girls. Today we have a happy group of 12, one being a rooster. Will be adding more next spring.

Got online and found BYC while searching for coop/run plans. We are putting finishing touches on their McMansion. Such a labor of love.

The coop designs on this site were so helpful. All the info on feed and health & wellness has been great.

Hobbies: well it is all about chickens rn. Never would have related to that.
Oh, and we have a large blueberry farm starting to take off. This summer was first harvest. But who cares!…I have chickens. lol.

My main interest is learning how to feed & care for my chickens in the most organic & holistic way possible.

Thanks for everything in advance.

This is great but don't let this get in the way of proper treatment using the correct medications when the need arises. I'll point out now that ACV and DE are NOT cure alls.
