frizzle, boy or girl?

I bought this as a pullet/cockerel from a reputable store. I was told it was a pullet, but it's really unfriendly, and today I heard crowing-like noises when a rooster passed by it. It didn't attack it or anything, but I may have gotten hosed here...

My guess is it's around 6 months. What do you guys think it is?

I had a handsome blue Americana too, but now she's bald and I believe I know the culprit...

That's a rooster. It's to bad he doesn't have hardly any frizzling! I have two hens, and EVERY SINGLE FEATHER ON THOSE CHIcKENS IS FRIZZLED!! They are very pretty though. Sometime it's funny, cause its like if they are scared or something, they just pull their heads back into their feathers!
