Frizzle breed/gender guesses

I hatched this frizzle chick 6 weeks ago from a “fun and funky” MPC order. Any thoughts on breed or gender? Please let it be a hen

Looking like a pullet, but there's still a chance it could be a boy. Post back in a few weeks and watch the comb in the meantime. If it grows more and gets red soon, then probably a boy.

Are the colors sex linked? Sorry I’m new to chickens so still figuring it all out!

No, not specifically, but cockerels/roosters have brighter feather colors than females. As this one grows, when it goes into adult feathering (around 10-12 weeks) more information will present itself to determine sex.

eta: sex linking indicates gender at hatch based upon the color(s) of the down.

Yeah I'm not sure either. It's looking rather androgynous at the moment. Update in a week or two!
