I have two newly hatched chicks that have feathered legs/feet. One of my roos is a cochin frizzle with feathered feet. Is it likely that the chicks will be frizzled also or can they have just some of the father's attributes?
BTW, I know this is silly and I'll know in a few days but I am DYING to know if they will be fluff balls! I want frizzle babies!! :)

It is possible that they will be frizzled. When you breed a frizzled bird to a non-frizzled bird, 50% of the offspring will have frizzling.

Yes, it is possible that some of your rooster's offspring will be frizzled. If a frizzled bird is crossed to a non-frizzled bird, 50% of the offspring are frizzled, and the other 50% are smooth feathered. If a frizzle is crossed to a frizzle, 50% will be normally frizzled, 25% will be smooth feathered, and 25% will have a double dose of the frizzle gene, making them "curlies."
