Some chicks are slower to feather, some fail to thrive. I would increase his protein and supplement with vitamins.

He is on Purina chick starter and is the most active chick I have. I’ll put more vitamin supplements in the water. Thank you.

Some chicks just need a bit extra in order to thrive. Perhaps he has a faster metabolism.

Looks just like one of my chicks that was slow to feather. Some have a recessive gene for slow feathering. It will catch up. Look up “slow feathering”
