I have a White, Red, and Black Frizzle Cochin and the Black one is feathering slower than the white and red. I have suspicions that the black one is a Cockeral because of its mannerisms. It's a bit feistier with the other chicks, more brave when it comes to me being in there with them. And now I've noticed that my white and red frizzles have their shoulder wings in, but this black one still does not. Only wing and feet feathers are in. It's wing feathers are shorter than the others as well. Pics for comparison attached (last 3 pics at bottom). Could my suspicions be accurate? All of them have a pretty equal sizes comb. Which I must add is fairly sizeable compared to my other chick breeds. Do female Cochins have a visible combs at 2 weeks because mine do?
