Just wondering if there is such a thing as a frizzle guinea? I hadn't heard of them before but I believe I have one!

Wish I knew the guinea experts here I would call them in , but you may have a quite rare bird on your hands....that is why I said this may be interesting...and if true you may want to consider a breeding program....and you posted in the right place....hope you add pics as your baby grows...
@oldhenlikesdogs any ideas? (She is frizzle expert for sure).

We raise hundreds of keets a year. The last batch started to "frizzle".

The local feed mill makes us a custom 26% starter crumble for the keets. We ran out, and the mill didn't have more made, so we had to switch to the 20% chick starter. This is when they frizzled. Now, this was only my experience, which I directly relate it to being the protein deficiency. I *assume* that a frizzle is possible, and if so I assume super cute. Keep us updated on your!

Never heard of a frizzle guinea, but I have heard of the feathers growing in frizzled from protein and/or vitamin B deficiency.

What are you feeding them?
