Frizzle question

Cochin is a breed, and yes, they are one of the feather legged breeds. Frizzle is more or less a variety. Any and all breeds can be frizzled, although it is more common in cochin and polish than in other breeds. Frizzle is recognised for ALL breeds. So no, not all frizzles are feather legged.

I am not sure. I have two frizzle/sebright mixes and one has feathered feet, and the other does not. They both came from my two red frizzles and my sebright roo. Maybe the feathered feet came from the hens being frizzle/cochin mixes!?! From what I understand you can cross a frizzle with any other chicken except for another frizzle. Most common being a cochin or a silkie. I crossed my frizzles and sebright because I did not have a place for the frizzles when I suddenly aquired them! Now I have my frizzles with a bantam cochin.
