Hi. Here is my Frizzle mix...Part EE, part Polish. Hoping it's a female. She was born about 7 1/2 weeks ago. What do you think?

No guess on gender from me, but IT is cute.

It looks really girly to me! Hmm- EE and Polish, where'd those cute little feathered legs come from? Maybe its got a little Cochin thrown in too. I agree, very cute!!!! Nikki

You know, I think the guy said it may have some Cochin in it too, come to think... I was glad to see her growing out some muffs. Here are a few of my newly hatched chicks. A Frizzled Non-naked neck chick I hatched from an X-L green egg with Naked Neck parent and Frizzled NN. They will carry the green egg gene.

I am the proud new owner of three little frizzles! What do you think?! They are three weeks old. Any tips or tricks to sexing them? I have heard frizzles and silkies can be difficult. Thanks for looking!

This is a re-post from the breed or gender thread and an update on my frizzles!

Hello everyone! I received these three chicks two weeks ago and they've already grown so much! The woman I got them from said frizzles and silkies can be very difficult to sex and that she had one chicken she was sure was a rooster until she started laying eggs! I'm starting to have my suspicions though already... What do you all think?

Blanche is the biggest and most beautiful (in my opinion!) and my favorite! She's very sweet and loves to be held and cuddled. She's also very brave and like to be high up. I often catch her perched upon the water bottle feeder in their cage!

Dorothy is the second largest and has the most developed wattles. She is very brave and combative with Blanche. I've suspected she might be a rooster and have tried not to bond too closely with her in the event I have to re-home her... She is sweet as well however.

Rose! She appears to be the most "hen-like" out of the three of them. She is "squatty" and very cuddly and always hides beneath the other two when they are together. She is also very tiny and has the most "frizzles", haha. I am very attached to her already.

IMO, the first two are males...The second one is for sure. Too early for a female to have wattles at that age.

Thank you all! My boyfriend insists he heard "Dorothy" attempting to crow this morning! I don't have very much space and I have a neighbor so I really can't keep any roosters. Anyone looking for a frizzle rooster in upstate NY? I will be re-homing Dorothy I guess
