Frizzle thread

Pics
Hi everyone :frow I am a first time Frizzle mum and I cannot believe what a cutie my little LuLu is. She is 5 months old and so cheeky and full of personality. Does anyone else's Frizzle pull their head into their feathers (like a turtle) before running or when playing with their buddies? She does this all the time and it is so cute/funny :) :love
She's beautiful

Thank you

Nope, any breed can be frizzled.

And a Sizzle isn't just a Silkie/Cochin cross. Its a bird bred to the Silkie standard, with normal barbed feathers (not shredded like a regular Silkie, a frizzled Silkie would have shredded frizzled feathers). There's alot more to making Sizzles than throwing a frizzled Cochin and a Silkie together ;)

I love this site!! I learn so much. I have 10 week silkies and Cochin frizzles. I really thought I could "make sizzles". Just goes to prove how much misinformation out there.

my bantam cochin frizzle hen is eating poop...is this normal? I try to keep the coop clean as possible to keep her from doing it but with 8 in the coop its a lil hard...I have been mating her with my naked neck bow tie showgirl roo...hope they have some beautiful babies...but after laying 5 eggs she quit laying for some reason...any ideas?
