She is a doll. I just love it when the topknot is not so long that it blocks their vision and instead sort of stands up like those old fashioned hair cuts young boys used to wear. My Chippy has that same look

Awww! Chippy and her babies are adorable! My Phyllis has a similar tail too.

I'm not sure. I bought her from showbarnmom. She's an EE but not sure what the mix is.

Judging by her top knot (and if she has feathered legs), she's probably a Silkie/EE mix, maybe? Mine looked a lot like her!

I did get some EE genetics in my group but never any silkie so unless it was hidden, I dont know. There might be silkie genetics hidden in some of my flock. I know I have cochin, Australorp and Faverolle.

I don't believe my girl has any Silkie in her. She is much larger than my Silkie and has clean legs.

She is fabulous looking !!! Just curious if ya knew what kind! I have a silkie rooster I'm *considering* breeding w/ my frizzle serama girl but lil leary about what they might turn out like

I hope so!! I have my frizzle serama girl in w/ my silkies so I guess time will tell! She stopped laying the day after she got here & it's been week & half

...wonder how long she will be on strike from the move. She was picked on by the other seramas she was w/. My silkies are good to her so hopefully she warms up & starts laying again soon !
