Doing that, you double up on that frizzle gene and you'll likely end up with half balding chickens, half sizzles.

I am looking for frizzled chicks. I would like them to be from a large fowl breed, not have feathered legs/feet, and not have a crest. I don't mind if they are necked neck frizzles either. I've gone the route of hatching eggs and didn't have good success. Only three hatched and none of them are frizzled.

Now I want to start with chicks that I know ahead of time are frizzled. I live in Auburn, AL and am willing to drive up to 5-6 hours one way to pick up frizzled chicks. Please if anyone has some frizzles they want to sell, please pm me with your location and pics of the frizzles. Or if someone has a batch that are fixing to hatch, please pm me about that too.

I think I'm going to try to hatch out a batch. My hopes are to get a little larger egg.

Congrats on hatch ! How soon can ya tell they are frizzles ?
