So I think it was her. We were out working on the chicken run and she started doing the egg song, acting all goofy, then disappeared into the coop. We didn't think much of it, as a few of the hens have been "singing". She came back out and was chasing the other banty cochin around. After a few moments, my husband went into the coop and found a perfect little egg!!! I thought he was joking. She laid it on the shelf where they sleep. She is one of my youngest girls and I thought she would be one of the last to lay an egg, she doesn't look near as mature as the others, waddle and comb barely red. I am pretty sure it was her, the others were running around free ranging while we were working and hadn't been back to the coop-well, I do think Lorp went in there-so now I don't know. Oh well, one of them laid an egg!!!
