frizzled polish/silkie

I have a few frizzled polish silkie crosses that I am looking to find homes for. They are extremely cute, I just dont have the room, and didnt expect such a good hatch. Not sure of the sex yet, they are still too young. They were born right around Mothers day. I am located in N. Fl.

I guess im not that north, I am near Gainesville Fl. I will add some pictures today of these litte guys so everyone can see.

The hen was a buff laced frizzled polish, and the rooster was a partridge bearded silkie. The chicks are starting to color out, but not sure what colors they will be. Majority are frizzled, I think 1 or 2 may be straight feathered, but some of their feathers are even starting to look a little "odd".

We're in Gainesville -- not quite in the city limits and are total newbies to chickens.

Think these would be okay to start with? And do you know if there are any restrictions being close-in like this?

Can they be considered pets? As opposed to livestock by the county?
