I have 3 chicks from an accidental breeding. Hen was not laying and was thought to be infertile. When she went broody I never thought twice. Surprise! The chicks are 3 weeks old in the pictures. Can anybody tell me what color these chicks are? I believe they are frizzled. The little light one has pink skin. They all have 5 toes. Mom is a little red frizzled Cochin/Silkie ? and dad is a black Silkie from paint breeding.

They are probably sizzles! These are a mix of Silkie and Frizzle. Sizzle is an incomplete dominant, which means that it should show up if one parent is frizzled.

They are adorable!

Thank you! They really are cute. The yellow chick was solid yellow until a week ago, and now everyday he looks different! I'm assuming he's a he, just by his stance and attitude. He knows he's cute

The hen was a rescue, no idea of her breeding. She might have been a frazzle, or someone's Sizzle project. She looked Cochin, except she had Silkie cushion and 5 toes. And she was TINY. The roo that came with her looked frazzled as well. He died a few weeks after I got them. I had no intention of breeding her, but when Freddie died she was all alone. My Silkie hens picked on her, and my Silkie roos weren't getting along. So, I put Walter in with Matilda and they were inseparable. Sadly she died in June. She was just dead in her pen one day. She's laid an egg that morning. I collected the 5 eggs under her and put them in the bator, just in case they were fertile. One of the 2 that didn't pip was a beautifully marked little paint.

The other looked like a black or blue. At least I have these 3 cuties! I'm happy.
