I’m thinking about getting some frizzles. Does anyone know what breeds of chickens make good frizzles? I really like the polish frizzles, and would love to hear of your favourites!

I personally love the polish frizzle and the frizzle Cochin

Any breed and variety can come in Frizzle. I’ve heard of Frizzled Sumatras and Frizzled Plymouth Rocks.

What breeds fo you like? It's a personal preference on what you want in the bird. You might want them for egg color, looks, or both. Hardiness too.

My favorites are serama and cochin.

I have one Red Cochin Bantam Frizzle rooster that came in a TSC assorted Bantam purchase. Kinda cute and somewhat soft to hold. Its my only Frizzle and the other Red Cochin Bantam (hen) I have is not a frizzle. I am going to breed them and see what the offspring looks like. She should start laying eggs any day now. Anyone know how the genetics work on these?
