There may be a certain breed that is considered frizzle but, the only frizzles I know of are either cochins, seramas or frizzled silkies.
My friend bought a black frizzle hen years ago that was standard size. She came from some big production place in Minnesota and was sent as a very sick girl - she died shortly later from gape worm among other troubles she had. The breeder said he would replace her but of course never did. Apparently a lot of people buy from this man - turkeys, chickens, ducks - he seems to have everything .Some folks act like his stock is something to cherish. He certainly didn't send my friend a good one. She has since bought
from other breeders and gotten very beautiful, healthy stock.
