Frolicking in the rain!

It’s been close to 100 degrees all day and we just got a rain shower out of nowhere. Cooled it off to the mid 80s and now the sun is back out and rain has stopped

All of my chickens went running around in the rain from their daytime shade spot.

Guess they needed a good cool off.

It’s funny how much my flock likes the rain!

Unfortunately they won’t be free ranging anymore. 😢

My top hen was killed yesterday in the daytime yesterday.

Hopefully, I’ll be able to build a covered run soon.
