That's hilarious. My mom collected eggs while we were out of town for a weekend and collected a "really dirty" egg so she put it in a separate carton and didn't tell me. That is definitely a cockerel. As for the screeching, I have no idea what that may be from. Is he hurting in any way that you can tell?Just felt his crop and holy hell. He ate alot earlier but this is soft on the bottom and hardish on top
