That's hilarious. My mom collected eggs while we were out of town for a weekend and collected a "really dirty" egg so she put it in a separate carton and didn't tell me. I looked everywhere for that ceramic eggs, finally remembered to ask her... we had a good laugh.

Just felt his crop and holy hell. He ate alot earlier but this is soft on the bottom and hardish on top

That is definitely a cockerel. As for the screeching, I have no idea what that may be from. Is he hurting in any way that you can tell?

His crop may be causing him harm in some way.
